The volcanic soil gives an added layer of complexity and distinctive character from increased minerality and acidity. We follow a well thought out management program to allow for minimal intervention and sustainability. We believe our vines have flourished through our personal attention and listening to what they need. Our mission to grow a high quality grape has guided us in our decision making and management of the vineyard.
About Us
Located in the hills of Amity, our family estate vineyard was planted in 2018. It has been a family venture from the outset. Jim and Cindy are the vineyard owners. Jim is the vineyard designer, manager, and wine maker. Cindy is the financial and business manager. Lindsey and Kyle are the vineyard hands. Starting with planting the grapes, we have tended to every vine from the beginning. With a small vineyard of 3 acres, it allows us to give the vines meticulous hands-on management. Each vine has been nurtured with love and care. We believe that fostering the growth of the vines through careful attention is what makes a high-quality grape. It is with this diligence that Diligence Chardonnay was born.
